Well, no more entries are allowed so it's down to the game! Who will be 2007 Fantasy Cricket championy!!?!?

Each week the up to date leaderboard and the performance statistics for all the players will be posted the club noticeboard. So make sure you keep looking at the board throughout the season.

THE RULES

Every team must comprise of 3x 1ST XI PLAYERS, 3x 2ND XI PLAYERS, 3x 3RD PLAYERS and 2X 4TH XI PLAYERS.
The competition is open to club members, their partners, friends and families. There is no limit on the number of teams a single person may enter.
Every team should comprise of 4x BATSMEN, 2x ALL ROUNDERS, 1x WICKETKEEPER and 4x BOWLERS. One of these players should be nominated as your team’s captain. Your nominated captain cannot be an actual league captain i.e. Jamie Rendell, Mike Pearson, Rich Deane or Andy Shield.
Fantasy Cricket teams will accrue points for player performances in league matches only, from 19th May to the 25th August inclusive. League fixtures held on Bank Holidays are included in the competition.
There are no substitutions in 2007!!
Any queries or disputes related to the competition will be referred to Rob Scott. Decisions made by him on all such matters will be final.
Nominated ‘captains’ will score double points.

Points

Points displayed below can be gained by ALL PLAYERS - except where stated.

BATTING

Every 10 runs is worth 1pt plus:

50 runs = 3pts
100 runs = 6pts
150 runs = 9pts

A DUCK = -2pts (not including bowlers)

BOWLING

Every Wicket is worth 2pts plus:

3 wickets = 3pts
6 wickets = 6pts
9 wickets = 9pts

When going for more than 5.5 RUNS PER OVER = -2pts (not including batsmen or wicketkeepers)

FIELDING

Catch = 1pt
Stumping = 2pts
Run out = 0pts (because it's too hard to call....so to speak.)

Prizes

1st place – 15% of all entrance fees
2nd place – 10% of all entrance fees
3rd place – 5% of all entrance fees
Manager of the Month (May to August inclusive) - £10
