In 2005 Chipping Sodbury Cricket Club's first ever Women's team was formed. It was the year that England's men won the ashes for the first time in 18 years and England's women won it for the first time in 42 years!

This gallery shows some of the photographs from that first year of CSCC women's XI, a year which showed that cricket can be enjoyed by all ages and sexes.
