CSCC Young Guns Academy | How Can You Take Part?

The CSCC Young Guns Academy will be continuing this Saturday from 9-11am at CSCC. The 10 week course is taken by Professional Coach Damian Forder and focuses on giving more specialist coaching to the some of the club's better players.
"At Chipping Sodbury Cricket Club we're very dedicated to providing our players with the best opportunities in cricket and the Young Guns Academy is one part of this." comments Mark Reynolds, CSCC Youth Co-ordinator. "We're focusing on developing the future of Chipping Sodbury Cricket Club and we're hoping that many of these players will go on to represent our Saturday 1st and 2nd XIs as well as gaining experience in representative cricket."
"We're very aware that our players will develop at different rates and so the selection for our 2009 academy will start again afresh next Spring. To be in this academy is obviously a good goal for our young players to aim for and so my message to those in this year's intake and those that aren't is try your best in both 2008 and at 2009 pre-season nets, and you may just be a part of the CSCC 2009 Young Guns Academy."
