Fantasy Cricket 2004 | DC Hits New Heights
David Collinge held onto 4th place on the Fantasy Cricket 2004 leaderboard after this weekend's games and with it claimed the Manager of The Month award for July; his team of, "No Hopers" having risen an impressive 22 places during the month, the most by any team.
DC's now also a serious contender for the prize money at the end of the 2004 season and he'll be hoping things don't go round in circles with his team dropping back down the leaderboard during the final stages of this year's competition.
Clapp back on top
Meanwhile Steve Clapp's, "Clappy's Crackerjacks" have reclaimed top spot with a successful week after being knocked off for one week by Joan Deane's, "Biddy's Boys" who drop down to third place. Rob Scott's, "10 Ball Overs are Fine" team move back into second place after amassing 54 points on the back of fifties from Craig Scully and Mark Graham and 3-wicket hauls from Jon Toghill, Alex Tebbitt and Ross Granger.
Tight at the Top
We're now at a crucial stage of the competition with only 4 weekends of league cricket remaining. Things are tight at the top, and in spite of some late surges by teams at this point last year, the smart money says the winner's now got to be one of the current top ten.
