Chipping Sodbury U11 A's Beat Downend Cricket Club's Under 11s In Cup

A great match took place last night for Mark Graham's Under 11 As against Downend away in the Bristol Youth Cricket Cup - Dave McCarthy Under 11 K.O.CUP (Preliminary Round).
In a very close match Chipping Sodbury won with 1 ball to spare. Downend CC - Under 11 won the toss and decided to bat. For Downend Harry Hughes 27* Olly Peters 25* took the Downend total to 84 for 4 from 20 overs.
For Chipping Sodbury Tom Wingent 26* Chris Kelly 21* took Sodbury to an exciting finish as Chipping Sodbury CC - Under 11 'A' won by 6 wickets with one ball to spare!
