NatWest CricketForce Was Great, But Still Work To Be Done!

Thanks to all you great club volunteers that gave something back to your cricket club in the rush to prepare it for the season ahead and to the businesses that also supported us. You all know who you are and the club couldn't exist without you!
It was a hive of activity last weekend during NatWest CricketForce and lots of painting, cleaning, mending and erecting took place.
Notice boards, a dart board, trophy cabinet, all were shifted and repositioned, paint on the walls and doors and lots of cleaning. Some of the true kings of the weekend were those that sat on the hired roller is some very cold conditions, brilliant work guys! Also litter picking, shower and toilet cleaning.....the list goes on. Great effort.
Huge thanks to our tiling sponsor 'Cotswold Tiles & Ceramics' (01454 322250) who beavered away in front of the bar with some shiny black tiles.
And also a new carpet!!!......
With a new kitchen on its way, the club will be looking tidier than it has for a while!
There's still work to be done mind, so if you come up on any of the Saturdays/Sundays at 10am from now until the club's first match then that would be brilliant.......hang on......our first match is NEXT WEEK AAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!! The net needs to be put on the portable cage, the other cricket nets need to be erected and plenty of other things need to happen!
Please come this weekend and give CSCC the finishing touches!!
