Fun Had By All Ages At The CSCC Crickathon

Article Date: 29th June 2009

Chipping Sodbury Cricket Club in Bristol is 150 Years Old this year!

Fun was had by young and old at the CSCC Crickathon on Saturday night! Competitors enthusiastically competed in a range of activities that tested their physical and mental strength!

We had four winners on the night who proudly received medals and lifted trophies!

Sam Vile stayed the driest in the water bomb catching.

Jon Toghill threw his javelin a mighty 22m to walk away with the title of "Best arm!"

Andy Neal was an outright winner of the 20m dash and Ben Townsend cleared the hurdles only spilling 1 cm of his pint (of water!)

Thank you to all who attended and a huge thank you to Woody and co for the BBQ!

There are still more events coming up - Fake That Night is next on 18th July - see you there!
