Article Date: 9th March 2010
- Clive Reynolds has ordered the Umpires Changing Room which will be located to the left of the pavilion. This will provide a much needed and required changing area for umpires on the main pitch.
- Clive Richards has sprayed the square for Red Thread. Red thread is a fungal disease which attacks grass, so you can imagine we don't want this around for long!
- The planning application for the new nets has been submitted after numerous requests from South Gloucestershire Council for extremely specific information, which unfortunately hasn't made it a simple process for Club secretary Clive Reynolds.
- CSCC still needs to raise the required funds for the nets, the majority of which is hoped will come from the England and Wales Cricket Board
- Natwest CricketForce takes place at CSCC on the weekend of 27th/28th March. The club is hoping that players, parents, friends, families and supporters will come up to the club to get the buildings and ground ready for the season ahead.
