Attention: Parents And Members Wanting To Become Qualified Coaches
Article Date: 29th November 2005
Become a Qualified Coach at CSCC
CSCC has been actively sending youth parents and CSCC members on the England and Wales Cricket Board offical coaches course for around 3 years now and 2006 is no different.
We are very keen for anyone involved in our cricket club to go on a coaching course which would mean coaching at youth level. Coaches can, if so wished, progress to coaching seniors, but this is not a requirement.
Level 1/UKCC1 Courses
Mark Reynolds will be notified of the new UKCC1 course soon after Christmas. Due to restructuring this course has replaced the previous Level 1 coaching course.
When Mark has dates and times he will notify those who have shown an interest. Before that just contact Mark for a chat by phone on 01454 314147 or by email which can be done in the contact section of this website.
This course will more than likely take place in Thornbury.
Level 2 Courses
The GCB is unable to deliver the old style Level 2 course until Spring 2006 when it will be replaced by UKCC2. Dates have been agreed for a Level 2 course to take place at Wycliffe College, Stroud in February.
Application forms will be released very soon, so all CSCC Level 1s who wish to do their Level 2 or equivalent please contact Mark.
