Great news!
CSCC has some very good news. In response to the bad weather which we hope will stay away, Chipping Sodbury Cricket Club is hosting the Bristol Youth Cricket League's Surridge sponsored Under 9 Kwik Cricket Festival.
The Rain Affected Long Ashton Festival
Over the past years Long Ashton Cricket Club has hosted this tournament and has made it a huge success with help from the league. 2007's Under 9 Kwik Cricket Festival was due to take place at the end of June at Long Ashton, but the rain had other ideas.
Chipping Sodbury steps forward
In light of the fact that Long Ashton Cricket Club hasn't been able to host the festival at a later date, Chipping Sodbury CC have stepped forward and are looking forward to hosting the 2007 Surridge sponsored Under 9 Kwik Cricket Festival.
Sunday 12th August at 10am
So on Sunday 12th August at 10am the first match of the 2007 Surridge sponsored Under 9 Kwik Cricket Festival will take place at the Chipping Sodbury's ground.
Promises to be a great day!
Over the course of the day 15 squads of 10 players will take part. The festival is not about winning or finishing top, it's about playing cricket to enjoy it. We hope that all at CSCC will come out and support the event. It's going to be great!!
