Chipping Sodbury Under 15s Win Their Section

Many congratulations go to Chipping Sodbury Cricket Club's Under 15 side which last week won their section and will now progress through to the quarter final against Bishopston.
A brilliant season to date has seen them win all of their 5 matches as they go into the quarters with a good bit of form behind them.
In their penultimate game, Sodbury made 143-6 against Patchway and then bowled Patchway out for 22. A superb effort by Sodbury. Lewis Dyer produced an amazing spell of bowling : 1.3o-0m-9r-5w.
In their final game against a weakened Thornbury side Chipping Sodbury made 182-4 with Tom Febry scoring 77. Thornbury could only manage 28 all out in reply.
The Under 15s will be looking to take this form into their quarter final and the whole club is wishing them good luck.
