We have some great matches taking place during our 150th Anniversary Cricket Week, but the highlight of the cricket week takes place on Tuesday 20th July as we welcome the MCC to Chipping Sodbury Cricket Club.
This match will also be an opportunity for past members to come to the club to see how it's progressing and enjoy a top class match, as well as chatting to other faces from the past. At the moment over 30 past members will be attending the day.
About the MCC
MCC (Marylebone Cricket Club) sides are made up of Members of the Club who have qualified to represent it by undergoing a two year probationary period, in which they are scrutinised by MCC Match Managers and need to fulfil the requirements of the Players & Fixtures sub-committee. The ability to play cricket to club first XI level is paramount.
