Date Change for Commencement of Training - Read on!
Happy new year to every last one of you lovely people!
Well now that you're all back in fighting fit shape after you've worked off those 4 plates of turkey, 10 mince pies, 1/2 tin of quality street and a sprout, it's time to think about the 2007 cricket season!!
Change of Venue
If you haven't heard the exciting news already, Chipping Sodbury Cricket Club will be training at the home of Gloucestershire County Cricket Club for the first time. There has now been a change of date and the first net will take place on Wednesday 28th February 2007 through to Wednesday 18th April (8-9.30pm), leather and willow will battle it out once again, but this time in the main sports hall at Nevil Road, home of Gloucestershire County Cricket Club.
Facilities
The facilities on offer will be very good, well worth the extra distance to travel. There will be 4 lanes of nets, a professional coach Damian Forder and the use of a bowling machine.
Fees for the night
In order to fund this great new opportunity which we hope our members will gain a lot from, we will be charging in the region of £5 per session. This will be confirmed in the near future.
