To all Club Members

It my sad duty to inform you that Jackie Hill nee Maguire, wife of Steve Hill passed peacefully away on Wednesday July 18th 2007 after a courageous battle against a long term illness.

For the past few years Steve and Jackie have spent considerable time working over seas, despite being remote from the Cricket Club they always showed a keen interest in The Club’s achievements, future development and most importantly its people.

On their return to the City of Bristol this interest has remained, unfortunately the progression of Jackie’s illness has provided Steve with no time to visit his Cricket Club.

Steve has asked me to pass on his sincere thanks to all those members who have passed on their best wishes during this difficult and sad period in their lives.

Details of the funeral arrangements will be given at a later date.

I am sure all our thoughts are with Steve and his family at this time of great loss and we can only offer our heart felt condolences as a small token of comfort.

Funeral Plans

For those who would like to pay their respects the funeral of Jackie will take place at Westerleigh Crematorium at 3pm on Monday July 30th, the theme is "purple", smart casual dress, donations if desired to BRI Oncology Unit or St Peters Hospice Brentry.
