Jamie Wakefield Stars Against Frenchay Before The Rain Comes

Jamie Wakefield starred with bat and ball on Saturday in Chipping Sodbury 1st XI's first league match of the season.
Batting at number 5, he made 72 not out from 111 balls out of a total of 154 for 7.
In reply Frenchay Cricket Club's 1st XI were in trouble at 23 for 4 from 9 overs with Jamie Wakefield again in the thick of it with 5o 15r 3w.
Unfortunately the rain which affected the whole of the Bristol area then hammered down and put an end to CSCC's victory hopes.
All of this happened the day after Jay made his debut for the MCC claiming an LBW with his first ball and finishing with 6ov 15runs 2wkts.
