CSCC Player And Supporter Jim Withers Passes Away
Article Date: 6th December 2010
It is with deep regret that the Cricket Club has to announce the sudden and untimely death of Jim Withers.
Jim played cricket for the Club in the late 1980's and in 1990 as a member of a youth section that contained among others, Jay Penfold, Paul Reynolds, Rob Fowler and Craig Scully, and also Jim played 2nd and 3rd XI cricket in the 1990s, as well as the odd appearance in the noughties. At the present time he remained involved with the Club especially during our 150th anniversary season.
Our condolences and thoughts are with Jim's partner, Deirdre, his mother Joyce and his brothers Nick and Dom at this very sad time.
Feel free to leave messages on Facebook at: http://on.fb.me/dTtYJU - you will also be able to find Funeral arrangements there when they are announced.
