June's Fantasy Cricket Manager Of The Month Announced

Little Longy takes the month's Fantasy Cricket Title
With all of last weekend's Sodbury league games being cancelled due to the poor weather there were no changes to the CSCC Fantasy Cricket leaderboard this week. As the manager of the team that has risen up the leaderboard the highest number of places in June, Dave Long walks away with the latest Fantasy Cricket Manager of the Month award.
His team, "The Flower Pot Men", were in 57th position at the end of May and on the back of some impressive performances by Rob Scott, Jon Toghill, brother Rob and Dad Jeff, Dave's team have now risen to 23rd spot to take the title.
The Runners Up
Other outstanding performances came from Mrs Parc's team, "Park Meat" who rose a fine 31 places during the month and Jay Penfold's, "Officer Goody's Wendies" who rose 23.
Transfer Window Closes
Last Sunday, the CSCC Fantasy Cricket transfer window closed and with it went your chance to get rid of any dead wood from your fantasy team if you hadn't already done so. If you took the opportunity to bring in new players, they can start earning you points from the league games being played this weekend onwards. All the team selections have now been updated in the Fantasy Cricket section of the website and on the club noticeboard.
Who Will Win?
Looking at the Fantasy Cricket leaderboard, the title's almost anyone's as we start the second half of the season. Steve Bush's "No Chance" team are still holding onto top spot, although only just as the next 5 teams are all within 14 points of the leader. Steve Clapp's, "Clappy's Crackerjacks" are in 2nd spot with Rich Bennett's "The Villains" playing it cool in third.
