An evening to remember
On Friday July 23rd I had the privilege of watching the inaugural Under Nine fixture versus Winterbourne watched by a large enthusiastic crowd of parents and grandparents.
It was pleasing to note that all the Sodbury team took the field in the appropriate cricket kit - we looked like a proper cricket side and were a credit to Chipping Sodbury Cricket Club .
More importantly the team played with some of the necessary skills that are required to play the game of cricket, most noticeably in the batting department.
This could not have been achieved without the patience and commitment of the team of coaches that over see the future of our club. The way they played the game recognised all the hard work our coaches have put in to date - well done to you all, keep it going.
