Most Cricket Injuries Can Be Treated In Yate From June 22
Article Date: 8th June 2010
Many of you may be aware of the new health centre that has been built next to Yate Library, called the West Gate Centre, however up to now not all of it has been open.
From June 22nd, within the centre, the new West Gate Centre Minor Injuries Unit (NHS MIU) will be open. The MIU is a drop-in service and has an X-ray facility.
Treatment of Cricket Injuries
What this all means for us is that our first port of call in many cases will no longer have to be Frenchay or Southmead hospitals. If you're at the cricket club next time there's an injury then be aware that depending on the time of day you could just go down to Yate.
Opening Times
- Monday to Friday from 8am - 8pm
- Saturday and Sunday from 10am - 2pm
