You have probably noticed the work going on over recent weeks to construct a cycle/foot path from the St Johns Way roundabout to Peg Hill through The Ridings. This will make it far safer for cyclists, walkers, runners and joggers and has been needed for many years.
It will be officially opened tomorrow, Thursday, at 10am at the Rugby Club.
If you are free, could you support our landlords, Chipping Sodbury Town's Trust, by putting in an appearance, any age!!!
This path will give a safer journey home to many including our members who have to leave their cars at CSCC after having a few too many drinks!
In 2006 a 24 year old died on the Wickwar Road after being hit by a car.
