New Second Pavilion Moves On Full Steam

Article Date: 30th July 2008

Chipping Sodbury Cricket Club in Bristol is 150 Years Old this year!

Well there's been huge progress on the building of the new second pavilion today.

Clive Reynolds, Tony Garton, Harry Webb and Tom Febry have spent all day slotting the structure together on the newly laid foundations. They were joined later in the day by Andy Newman, Ian Hobbs and Jeff Long.

The roof will now be put on Sunday AM. Clive will be contacting those who have volunteered their services to build the pavilion.

Well done guys on a great day's work!

This follows some absolutely brilliant graft and expertise by Ian Townsend, his son Jack and Ian's colleagues on the foundations.
