No ECB Funding For New CSCC Cricket Nets

We have had disappointing news from the ECB. Following our grant application, no funding will be provided for new nets at Chipping Sodbury CC in 2010.
There are a few options which are currently being discussed via email by the committee and will be discussed in more detail at the next CSCC committee meeting on Tues 18th May. The ECB have told us that we could apply for a grant for a decision in April 2011.
That new application will be judged by taking into account the important part that CSCC can play in the future of girls/womens cricket in Gloucestershire.
Our new status as a Focus club has unfortunately coincided with a large reduction in the amount of money the ECB can give out - that has come as a result of the recession and the potential of reduced TV revenue.
