Our No1 Supporter Norman Prendergast Passes Away

Today is a sad day for Chipping Sodbury Cricket Club as news filters through of the passing away of our No.1 supporter Norman Prendergast. He will be hugely missed.
Norman has been in ill health for a while and in recent seasons had not been able to come along to watch as many 1st team games as he used to.
The sight of Norman in his car in the corner of the ground was always an endearing sight and he always had a big place in the heart of every Sodbury 1st XI player and many others throughout the club.
Hopefully there'll be more about Norman and the part he played at CSCC on this website soon.
We will also try to let readers know further details so that they can pay their respects to Norman 'Normsky' Prendergast, Chipping Sodbury Cricket Club's Number One supporter.
Our thoughts are with Norman's family.
UPDATE: Norman's funeral will be held on Tuesday 27th January - 1300hrs at Westerleigh Crematorium.
