Police Warning
Sports teams in Bristol and Somerset are being warned to be on the look-out for a conman targeting clubs in the area.
The man, who is in his 50s, is believed to have stolen wallets and mobile phones from changing rooms at a number of clubs by posing as a security guard. Police say club officials should ensure valuables are kept secure.
They say visiting teams should be suspicious of anyone claiming to be a security officer from the home side.
The man is described as white, of medium build with grey or dark hair. Anyone with information is asked to contact Avon and Somerset Police.
