Youth Pre-season Indoor Cricket Training Dates Announced

The dates for all pre-season indoor cricket training for Chipping Sodbury Cricket Club's youth squads is as follows:
Under 9s
As per usual, the Under 9s do not have pre-season indoor training and will begin their training in late April 2007. In the meantime you can try some of the neat tricks on the BBC website. Have a go!!
Under 11s and Under 13s
Pre-season training will take place at the newly refurbished King Edmund School Sports Hall (Map) on Sunday 18th February. Under 11s will be from 4pm - 5pm. Under 13s will be from 5pm - 6pm. To cover the hire of the hall, each player will need to pay £10. Please bring all monies in an envelope. Make cheques payable to CSCC.
CSCC can provide cricket equipment to be used, however feel free to bring your own. Please wear appropriate clothing (which you can run around in (i.e. not jeans)). Trainers should be worn. Players please wear the appropriate underwear which will allow you to wear a cricket box. This usually means pants or an athletic support. If players cannot wear a box they will not be allowed to bat.
Under 15s
Pre-season training will take place at the newly refurbished King Edmund School Sports Hall (Map). Training will start on Tuesday 20th February from 6pm to 7pm. Training will take place every week (including Easter week). The last session will take place on Tuesday 10th April. To cover costs, each session will cost £3 per person.

Under 17s
As per usual, the Under 17s do not have pre-season indoor training and will begin their outdoor training in late April 2007. For many years this has been down to a lower number of players being able to attend pre-season training. Selected players will be asked to join the senior squad in their training. Please do not worry if you are not involved, all of the squad are very much in our thoughts!
