The clock is counting down to Simon Cox's 2010 Race Against Time and he's looking for you to sponsor him.
Simon is a Youth Coach at Chipping Sodbury CC and on the 27 June 2010 he will begin his cycling journey from Lands End to John O'Groats in just six days!! That's an average of 145 miles a day, and a total of 874 miles in less than a week! Phewy!
Raising Money for a Good Cause
"This year I'll be undertaking the biggest challenge of my life", says Simon "racing 874 miles by bicycle in just 6 days to help another race against time - the race to reduce the rate of HIV-AIDS infection in South Africa, and to help those already living with or affected by it.
"My training is already well underway, along with that of the 15 other riders, and we're all aiming to raise £2,000 each for this remarkable charity (The Bishop Simeon Trust), which is now in it's 20th year."
