Sodbury Fun Day
An amazing event to celebrate the end of the 2006 league season takes place on Bank Holiday Monday August 28th. The 2006 Sodbury Fun Day!
The main attraction will be a Twenty20 tournament between England, West Indies, Australia and South Africa. The event will be just like on telly!! with white balls, black sightscreens and coloured clothing and everything!!! (First game 12:30pm).
There will be 2 x 16 over semi-final and a Twenty20 final. There will be four runs for wides and no-balls with no extra balls. Every fielder will bowl at least 1 over in the semis and 2 overs in the final.
Also while the exciting action takes place they're be plenty for families and spectators to do; they'll be BBQ, bouncy castles, the usual bar, plus plenty of other activities!
There will be prizes for the most runs, wickets and the overall champions. There will also be a sponsors day and buffet.

We'd love to see everyone who has anything to do with the club there. From the Under 9s to the 1st XI. Things will kick off at midday, with the first game starting at 12:30pm.
For the day to be a success, we also need volunteers in several different roles. These include umpiring, scoring, raffle ticket sellers, an MC!?, Bar staff, BBQ chefs, plus many more!! Whether you're a parent, player or pet your help is needed! Please ring Jay Rendell 07899983534.
