Graham Lloyd - guest speaker at the 2005 Bristol and District League Dinner.

Chipping Sodbury Cricket Club is due to celebrate its successful 2005 season this Friday evening as players from the championship winning Saturday 2nd, 3rd and 4th XIs convene for the 2005 Bristol and District Annual Dinner.

Captains Mike Pearson, Rich Deane and Andy Shield will lead the way as teams from all over Bristol attend the annual event at BAWA, Filton.

3 championship winning teams doesn't happen often, so if you're going make the most of it! Hopefully the photos from the night will soon be up in the Gallery section.

This year's guest speaker will be Graham Lloyd, son of David 'Bumble' Lloyd. He was a key member of the Lancashire side which dominated one-day cricket in the mid to late 1990s. He retired in 2002 after failing to secure a regular place in the Lancashire first team and went to play Minor Counties cricket for Cumberland, as well as coaching at Accrington, the club where he - and father, David - started.
