Chipping Sodbury Under 15s Score 240 For 3 Off Their 20 Overs!

Chipping Sodbury Under 15s played Winterbourne A in the 2nd Round of the National Cup at Winterbourne and scored an amazing 240 from their 20 overs. This surely must be one of the highest, if not the highest CSCC score in CSCC 20 over youth history.
Tom Makepeace blazed 55 runs n.o from 19 balls,Chris vd Merwe smashed 50 n.o from 19 balls and Adam Febry stroked 45 from 32 balls.
The Sodbury bowlers than produced a clinical bowling display which saw Winterbourne restricted to 84 for 3 from their 20 overs.
The pick of the Sodbury bowlers was Matt Bethell 4-0-12-1,Dan Brown 4-2-8-1 and Chris vd Merwe 4-1-10-1.James Bracey top scored for Winterbourne with a well crafted 40.
