A Quick And Successful End Of Season Clean Up

A big thanks to everyone who attended Chipping Sodbury Cricket Club on Saturday morning and afternoon to make sure the square was properly prepared for the winter and next season.
Many machines, brooms and other contraptions were run across the square, before grass seed, fertiliser and 112 bags of loam were taken out and spread over it. Other jobs included raising the netting on the artifical practice area, completely dismantling our new mobile net facility and sightscreens, repairing the grass area around the artificial nets and many other jobs in the pavilion.
Because of everyone who lent a hand it meant that the work was completed in just the one day, a big improvement from previous years, so thanks! We then had time on Sunday for Jeff, Clive and Mark to do exactly the same to Hillesley Cricket Club's square...jee-whiz!
