The 2nd Pavilion Takes Shape - Fancy Doing A Bit This Sun 9th Nov?
Article Date: 5th November 2008
It is a long time since Clive Reynolds contacted you about our second pavilion. Over the last month or so interior work has not progressed due to the demand for end of season work on the cricket squares.
Work has taken place though
However, Ian Townsend has continued to do sterling work with his digger and dump truck and the sewage disposal unit and other drainage has been installed.
Time to do the Interior
Clive now wants us to turn attention to the interior of the second pavilion and erect part of the ceiling so that the partitions can be erected and subsequently the first fix electrics can be fitted.
Fancy lending a hand on Sunday 9th Nov?
We're looking for a group of about 6 of you on Sunday morning from 0900 - the necessary work can be done in a couple of hours. Please let Clive know if you are available to help. Phone Clive on 01454 314147 if you can help out
What's involved?
This task involves holding the panels in place and inserting screws, so muscles and phillips type screwdrivers are needed (Clive has some metal props to hold the sheets temporarily once lifted into position).
