Senior Cricket
In 2009 the Saturday 1st and 2nd XIs will be playing in the West of England Premier Cricket League. More specifically the Bristol and North Somerset Division.
With 5 senior teams playing league cricket on Saturdays and 2 league senior teams playing league cricket on Sundays - Chipping Sodbury Cricket Club maintains a great deal of choice for cricketers of all standards.
Many people in Yate and Chipping Sodbury are having an enjoyable and rewarding time on the pitch at Chipping Sodbury Cricket Club with success and challenges ahead. 2009 Pre-season Senior Training
The nets will take place from Sunday 8th February to mid April from 10:30am to 12:30am at Mangotsfield School Sports Hall, but not Easter Sunday.
All senior players in the club are expected to attend these nets.

Saturday 1st XI
After a fantastic season in 2007 with many top performances throughout the squad, the 1st XI under the captaincy of Jamie Rendell were promoted to the West of England Premier League (WEPL), more specifically the Bristol and North Somerset Division. In 2008 they had a respectable season and finished 5th.
Saturday 2nd XI
In 2009 Chipping Sodbury's Saturday 2nd XI had their first season in the Bristol & North Somerset second XI division and finished in a respectable 4th position. Hosting a collection of cricketers fighting to make it into the 1st XI.
Saturday 3rd XI
After a string of promotions over recent years and a great year in 2008 the 3rd XI in 2009 welcome a new captain after may fine years under Richard Deane. CSCC we give you Mike 'Gutsy' Garton!!
Sodbury's 3rd XI have found their feet in Division One of the Bristol and District Cricket 2nd XI League. And in 2009 face an exciting year in the same league.
Saturday 4th XI
After a great season in 2008, the 4th XI continue their cricket in 2009 in the Bristol & District 'A' XI Division One league.
This team will play a crucial role in the future as Sodbury's youth get their first taste of senior league cricket. Good luck to the 4th XI in 2009 as they continue on their way.
Saturday 5th XI
For the first time in the history of the club we welcome our Saturday League 5th XI. It will be an interesting year!
Sunday Cricket
Sundays provide the perfect opportunity for Sodbury to play the teams that we don't get around to playing on Saturdays. This usually involves traveling to some excellent grounds throughout Bristol, Gloucestershire and Wiltshire.
Sunday 1st XI
The Sunday 1st XI is the perfect opportunity for some of the youth team players at Sodbury to get a taste of cricket at a high level. In 2009 the team continues Sunday League Cricket.
Sunday 2nd XI
In 2009 the Sunday 2nd XI will continue playing league cricket in the Malmesbury village league. The Sunday 2nd XI provides a great opportunity to the youngsters of the club, and a great introduction to a longer form of the game.
We hope that our adult members will support our youth team matches as frequently as possible and also help with some coaching.
Support from you guys can never be underestimated, and I'm sure you would have all felt honoured if an adult player came to watch you, when you were a young cricketer.
